Why polypropylene instead of PVC?

Most cheap privacy strips on the market are made from PVC. The problem: PVC often contains plasticisers and chlorine, becomes brittle under sun exposure, and loses its colour after just one or two summers. The result is faded, wavy strips that make the fence look worse, not better.

Our premium strips are made from recyclable polypropylene (PP). Polypropylene is chemically more stable than PVC, contains no plasticisers and no chlorine, and is 100% recyclable. With a UV Class 10 rating — the highest level — our strips are extremely resistant to sun exposure. No yellowing, no fading, no brittleness. Even after years, they look like they did on day one.

Easy installation in two steps

One of the most common questions we get: How do I attach privacy strips to a double rod mat fence? The answer is pleasantly simple. Our strips are threaded into the fence panel from the top — mesh by mesh, without dismantling the fence. Then the included fastening clip snaps into place, securing the strip firmly. That's it.

No drilling, no screwing, no tools. A complete fence run of 26 metres can be fitted with privacy in about 30 to 45 minutes. Even on your own, no second person needed. The strips are 19 cm wide with thicknesses between 0.65 and 2.0 mm depending on pattern — perfectly dimensioned for all standard double rod mat fences.

Every garden is different, which is why we offer our privacy strips in five different surface textures: CLEA, MILA, SUNA, FARA and WOVA. From smooth and modern to structured and natural — each variant has its own character.

Plus a range of classic RAL colours that integrate harmoniously into any garden design. Available across all patterns: Anthracite (RAL 7016), Window Grey (RAL 7040) and Moss Green (RAL 6005). Depending on the pattern, you can also choose Black (RAL 9005), White (RAL 9003), Nut Brown (RAL 8011), Light Ivory (RAL 1015) or Stone Grey (RAL 7030). The combination of anthracite strips with a dark grey double rod mat fence is particularly popular — a timeless, modern look that suits new builds and mature gardens equally.

How long do privacy strips last?

The lifespan of privacy strips depends largely on the material. While cheap PVC strips often show wear after just one or two years, our polypropylene strips are designed for long-term use. The combination of high UV resistance (Class 10), material thicknesses between 0.65 and 2.0 mm, and weights between 550 and 1250 g/m² ensures the strips don't fade or lose shape, even after years.
